All India Common Entrance Examination (AICEE)

Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts 'All India Common Entrance Examination' (AICEE) for admission to various undergraduate (UG) programs across India. VCI holds a historically significant position as the pioneer organization of all veterinary colleges and has promoted excellence in the field of veterinary medicine.

This examination is being conducted for years and its popularity is increasing day by day. Students from different states participate in this examination but except the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Department of Animal Husbandry has directed VCI to use the NEET-UG merit list to fill seats in premier veterinary colleges for 15% AIQ (All India Quota).

Furthermore, the selection of students eligible for admission will be in accordance with the standards of 'Minimum Veterinary Education' of VCI. These standards define dedication, commitment and excellence. Students must have obtained minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2. AICEE exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on various topics.

VCI AICEE Latest Update – 

- The Council will conduct AICEE 2022 in May.

- The notification for the AICEE 2022 registration will be published online as well as offline (in all the leading newspapers).

- The application form was available from 25th February 2022.

- The last date to submit the same at the designated center or at the official website is 20th April 2022.
